Lansdowne Tennis Club, founded in 1875, is a prominent sports facility located in Dublin.
The club’s facilities include 10 all-weather floodlit courts, a modern clubhouse and bar with excellent viewing areas for tournaments.
This popular and busy club runs weekly social tennis events, regular tennis clinics, cardio tennis classes, internal competitions and is very active in the Dublin league.

Beyond tennis, Lansdowne Tennis Club plays a key role in promoting an active and healthy lifestyle, encouraging community engagement and providing a social hub where people of all ages can come together through sport.

After conducting a detailed site assessment and needs assessment, Ohk energy designed and installed a bespoke 8kW commercial solar solution. The installation included:
Additional system components, such as a local distribution board (incl. a 3 phase RCD and MCB, and a DIN rail meter) and relevant safety measures, were also put in place.
The system was also set up to facilitate the selling of excess electricity back to the grid.

If the club doesn’t consume all generated electricity, the excess can be used to offset future energy bills.
