3 months ago we announced the merger of NRG Panel and JFW Renewables, and today we launch our new group brand.
With roots in rural Ireland, both NRG Panel and JFW Renewables grew to become two of Ireland’s leading renewable energy companies.
The merger combined our key strengths, expanded our offering, and increased our capacity for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

To celebrate the launch of the Ohk energy brand, we held an internal launch party at Mullingar Park Hotel on Thursday 25 July.
The event included presentations from Melior Equity Partners , Failte Solar and an excellent installer award ceremony from Sigenergy along with dinner and live music.
These are the people behind the brand – the people delivering market leading solutions, exceptional customer satisfaction levels and a more sustainable future.

The name “Ohk energy” embodies the strength and longevity of the oak tree, a tree which is native to Ireland and is one of the best trees in the world at absorbing carbon.
The “Ohk” spelling combines “oak” with “ohm” symbolising strength and stability, which reflects our focus on providing cutting-edge green energy solutions to our customers for a brighter future for generations to come.
You’ll start to see more about Ohk energy in our communications.
That’s about it really. For now at least.
You’ll start hearing us mention that NRG Panel (and / or JFW Renewables) is part of Ohk energy Group.
You’ll see logo changes where the Ohk logo is incorporated into the NRG Panel and JFW Renewables logos.
We’ll do this until we ensure that there’s a seamless transition fully into Ohk energy.
There’ll be no interruption to services or support.
And, needless to say, we’ll continue to support our customers regardless of which name they know us by.
We’re proud of our heritage as NRG Panel and JFW Renewables and we’re really excited about our future as Ohk energy.
